When you engage Clement Creative, everyone you work with is a seasoned pro: strategists, writers, art directors and account managers who have worked on big brands at big market agencies, as well as on start-ups, regional clients and mom and pop businesses at local agencies. It’s the kind of deep experience that makes for exceptional problem-solving expertise, as well as a practical perspective for the business challenges you face.
Charlie broke into the agency business as an account executive and copywriter in Portland, Maine in 1985 and soon managed all day-to-day creative and client services on several of the agency’s top accounts. Given the opportunity to focus on the creative side of the business, he moved to Milwaukee in 1990 and spent five years working as a staff writer and producer for three of Wisconsin’s largest agencies.
At the urging of a former client, Charlie struck out on his own in August of 1994. It was then that he founded Clement Creative and — in order to provide full service to the Milwaukee Admirals ice hockey club — began implementing the partnership philosophy that continues to guide the company today.
Charlie brings keen strategic insight to the task of solving a client’s marketing problem, a skill that has helped him create strong, smart work for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small, family-run businesses. His creative honors include Telly, Summit, Addy, BMA, B/PAA, Broderson, NEDMA and Echo awards in a variety of print and broadcast categories.
